Mount Nebo Church Baptist
The joy of the Lord is our strength! What a mighty God we serve! Today I met with Dennis [McLaughlin] and what a blessed experience it was. His skills definitely compliment Mark [Ridolphi]s. His ideas and suggestions were so refreshing and his people skills are awesome. He was able to open my eyes to new and innovative ideas!
...I never imagined that there are so many ways to create the appearance which we are aiming for. I am so excited about what God is doing with this project! I am not sure that all of my suggestions will be used, but it sure felt good to know that my vision will become a reality real soon.
Dennis was able to provoke thoughts and suggestions I never dreamed were possible. Nothing can stop us now. I have seen God's handiwork. I only wish that I had sought Dennis services earlier in the project. I pray that God will continue to bless our relationship. ...
I remain His and your servant,
Pastor Danny Norment

Mt. Nebo Baptist is a small congregation in south Chicago. This modest church building provides the opportunity for a complete pastoral practice on the south side of Chicago. It includes all the major elements for the religious needs of a growing, young congregation. It includes a Narthex vestibule, men's and women's rest rooms., office receptionist area, pastor's office on mezzanine, meeting/classroom, and kitchen. Platform contains seating for a 22-member choir, a baby grand piano, an organ and drum-set and a pulpit area. Behind the platform is a changing room with a small toilet room on one side and a prayer room on the other. Glass block windows brighten the sanctuary from both sides. Moveable partitions stored on both sides of the sanctuary provide the potential for creating a dining room in the worship space. Ceiling-mounted pendant fixtures illuminate the gathering and speakers above lay hidden behind a ceiling structure in front of the seating space. |
